System Requirements 

AAC's Frontdesk and associated programs will run on most contemporary computers, but for optimum performance, we recommend the following:

For Windows XP Systems:

• At least 1.5GHz Intel Pentium 4 or comparable CPU
• 300mb free hard disk space
• 512mb RAM
• 56.6k Hayes compatible modem or high speed internet connection: cable, DSL, T1, etc.
• 12x or higher CD-ROM drive, or CD-R for backup purposes
• Two or more USB ports for connecting external devices
• Microsoft Windows XP Professional or above

For Vista Systems, all of the above except:

• 1.0gb RAM required, 1.5gb recommended
• Windows Vista Business or above

Recommended Accessories:

• UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) with battery backup and surge protection
• Barcode reader: Wand or Laser wand with stand
• Membership card reader
• Receipt printer, 3" paper width
• Electronic Cash Drawer
• External numeric keypad
• Sound card and speakers
• Image verification camera
• Inkjet or laser printer

For Terminal Printers:

• 8mb onboard memory
• USB or LPT connection
